Patient Name: xxxxxxx about her Breast Augumentation Experience

June 14, 2017

My name is xxxxxx . I am a 33-year-old mother of 2 kids. I live in the great state of Andra Pradesh, and have been married for nearly 10 years. I am a stay at home mom, who also runs my own boutique from home.

When I started having kids, I weighed approx 65 kgs at 5′ 7″. It was strange how I would lose more and more weight after nursing each child. By the time my youngest of 2 was 10 months old, I weighed 50kgs, and had absolutely no breast tissue at all. I currently weigh 57 kgs.I knew for years that I wanted to get implants, but I didn’t start searching for my doctor until about 3 months ago. I checked out several websites for doctors in Hyderabad. I was most impressed with Dr. Hari Kiran as he specializes in Minimal breast augmentation.
I found him very professional as he took a thorough measurement to provide the correct size of breast implants. I went with Silicone Breast Implants with 350 cc’s, under the gland. My goal was to look as proportionate as possible. I didn’t want people to notice that I had an implant.

What it feels like?

I really didn’t have a lot of pain after the surgery. I took the prescribed medicine as given by doctor which took care of pain and recovery. During the initial days after the surgery it was difficult to sleep with just one pillow and I required more than 2 to give me a comfortable position to sleep. After 2 weeks of surgery, I can now sleep on one pillow, but still miss sleeping on my belly.

If you have ever breastfed a baby, then I will compare the discomfort to that. The skin feels little tight, but is gradually stretching. It feels like I got the correct size proportionate to my body as going from nothing to something huge would’ve been too much for me. I just don’t like drawing a lot of attention.

Why I wanted the surgery?

I always had issues with my breasts as they were too small. I never liked looking at my pictures due to this very reason. My breasts always made me look like a 13 year old who was entering in puberty. I had to wear padded bras to fit into my tops and t-shirts but when I was naked I wanted to look and feel like a woman. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel like a woman until I underwent the surgery.

Only a few people knew what I looked like. My mother didn’t know until 2 weeks before surgery, that I was having a breast augmentation procedure.

Some Points for consideration

You’ll have a number of decisions to make during the process of preparing for your breast augmentation.

There are some of the choices you and Dr. Hari Kiran will make:
• The size of your implants
• Prefers silicone implants
• The location of your incision during surgery under the muscle or under gland

It’s important to understand that these choices come with some advantages and disadvantages, but all of them are safe. Dr. Hari Kiran will never offer you an option that does not protect your health and wellbeing.

What risks are involved?

There are risks involved with all surgical interventions and anesthesia, but a skilled surgeon, surgery staff and following post-surgery recovery recommendations will decrease them. That includes staying away from smoking. These surgeries are voluntary and although the risks may not be big, they should still be taken into consideration.
